Some sadness some happy!

Onward with the crappy part of the past few weeks, days whatever.

Well one of our cats passed away 2 weeks ago tomorrow. He was such a cool cat, grumpy, cantakerous and the boss. As Fiance said, his cheese slid off his plate but we just know that he is in a better place now playing over the bridge eating raviolis and drinking milk.

Onto some happyness, I got my last book of the Nora Roberts Bride Quartet series, Happy Ever After. Loved it, of course like all the series Im disappointed to have it end but I thought that Parkers story along with Laurel, Mac and Emmas stories were ended very well. Of course I had to leave to pick up Fiance right in the middle of reading a good part, but then again the whole book was a good part. LOL. Now Im done getting books for the rest of the year but I do have a few Im looking forward to finding. The Chicago Fire trilogy by Susan Wiggs seems like it will be a good series but Im in no rush to get them. Im quite honestly obsessed with my Nora Roberts books, NOONE is allowed to touch them but me, even Fiance knows that he can not touch them mostly because he doesnt know where they go on my bookshelf. I have them all organized by type and then in order of release date. It gets a bit more complicated within the sets mainly because I want the books to be organized by series or sets but also within date order. Like the MacGregor series, it was one of the first sets but there were books out in between them but I am anal enough and crazy enough to have to have them as a set in order all together. Not in actual copy right date order. LOL...Yes its ok to think Im nuts, I know I am but it works for me.

Ive had some other stuff going on but nothing fun or exciting. Mainly Ive been randomly picking up some crochet work I started like my blanket that will either be for the bed or the back of the couch to cover the Frankensteinness of having to perform surgery on it. Its pretty neat, worked with Homespun yarn by Lionbrand, a total pain in the ass to work with but OMG oh so SOFT so well worth the pain. I also am making myself a scarf for the winter with Fishermens Wool, its soft kind of itchy but its soooooo pretty.

Can you believe that Christmas decorations are being put out already.....I cant Im so not ready. One because Ive got the dilemma of picking and choosing who to get something for. Fiance and I pretty much are only getting for M and K along with his brother and his gf. He wants to get wire for his brothers garage a birthday/christmas/thank you present and I want to get something for his gf because she honestly has been like the one friend who isnt a dumbnut douchebag and is who she is. She is probably the least fake person Ive ever met and I appreciate that, even if she does get grumpy and moody sometimes, but again its something I respect because shes upfront about it and isnt fake or two faced.

Well Ive got to start my day, shampooing extraveganza.....Sooooo not fun......till next time
